DescriptionEver since a good friend acquired a fantastic Juggernaut cover by Mico, I've had a hankerin' for my own piece of perfection.I'm not really an Aquaman guy (though I do like how he chillaxes), and there were some great Superman covers available as well, but I kept waiting. Until I saw this. Talk about putting the title into the art! The number of discrete elements on this piece is most impressive, and I love the interpretation of Vader's cloak. A giant thanks to the Jiggmeister for an effortless transaction, as always - part of an epic SDCC 2023 delivery. To catch your own piece of the Dark Side, write to Jiggy ASAP - I believe the Filipino Phenom may be taking a very limited list. Social/Sharing |

Star Wars isn't my thing but great art is. I love how Mico incorporates color into his original work so we get his vision for what the finished product should look like. The red really makes that ink pop! Congratulations on the acquisition. I hope to visit it some day. :)

Love the limited color pallet. The ponting finger really makes this one extra fun!

Oh man! You HAVE to add a soundbite of The Imperial March to this so people can hear the theme while they're looking at the piece. Wow!

I will take it to the wire now
It is Mico’s greatness done
I'll go straight into Darth Vader now
Make sure Jiggy’s paid enough
Voices say, Vader’s great
Live the night as if each moment
Was the issue one
Through the fire, to the wire
Jedi Knight out of control
Is breaking your art
Through Reminder, of the wire
Mico’s pencils burning hot
They take your Vader, through the fire

No one trods on Vader's lillies and gets away with it.

Amazeballs. Words escape me, especially any that haven't already been commented above. The black and red atmosphere in the background is hypnotic.

Crazy textures, red being the only color with the sabre and background to highlight the coming doom...perfecto! Congrats!

Yes! The helmet in particular really reminds me of the earlier comic interpretations. Thanks!

I said it once and I will say it again. Mico has to be the most under the radar superstar artist working now. just another outstanding example here. I really love the use of the red skies as it really gives a pop to the tie fighters coming at you in an almost 3d effect. plus the red also is the color of the Sith. it is also prominent in lord Vader's light saber.the man is a genius at his craft.

A stunning image of an inspiring leader at the head of the vanguard, putting himself in front of his brave troops while traitorous cowards like Dodonna and Ackbar hide in their ships. This could easily be a recruitment poster to join the military of the Galactic Empire to bring peace and security to the galaxy!

Almost missed this one as it didn't come up in my Star Wars searches. What a fantastic cover! Everything from the layout to the Vader image is just so well done.

I would've gone for for a Superman cover, but hey, we all gotta stick to our preferred tastes! A beauty, congrats!
