DescriptionFresh in from the Philippines by way of Umatilla, another all-out effort by a member of the Next Comic Art crew. I'm particularly pleased with this because I have been eyeing Mark's work but had yet to pull the trigger on a piece, and this is a most excellent representation.Pure energy on the page, and the design of Vader-san's armor is wonderful, extending through to the lightsaber hilt. There is also metallic silver and red paint throughout that doesn't really come through the scan, and with a majestic Death Star backdrop, what more could anyone want? Thanks Mark, Jiggy, and Bill! that's a real beauty. I love the whole concept of Vader in samuri armor. it's a natural fit.

I lnow the defense looks impregnable but if you slip in, there is one tiny sweet spot that will make things go wild.

The franchise is saturated enough. Please don't give Disney any more ideas. But his is one insanely cool piece though!

Wow, it never even occured to me that Vader's costume was so akin to that of a Samurai. Such a creatively cool idea!

Yeah I do really like those dashes of red and silver in the armor. Subtle but very very effective. What an ultra cool take on the character!
