Description

Bud Blake kindly sent me this daily strip in response to a fan letter I wrote to him in the 1970s. It amazes me how he is so subtle and eloquent with such economy of drawing. Cartooning at its best.

Spotting the subtle differences between panels works great for a newspaper strip. Blake chooses to allow the word balloons bridge the two panels up top.
