DescriptionNot exactly sure what to say about this one...just take your time checking out the details of it and enjoy! I feel I'm extremely fortunate to have such an amazing piece by a modern master such as Kelley in my collection. I knew I wanted a Batman from Kelley (what Batman fan wouldn't?!?!?) and having the chance to make this happen is a seminal point in collecting comic art for me. Many thanks to Kelley for this superb piece-he called it "BatAlley"-and a special shout out to Shannon for the assist with this. Where do I go from here?!?!? CINCY COMIC CON 2014.Social/Sharing |

AWESOME. Kelley is certainly themaster when it comes to the Bat. so much to love about this from the light behind btaman to the contrast between the black and white of the cape. Kelley perfection!

As you said, a Kelley Jones' Batman is much sought after by any Batman fan... And this is truly a great one!

Layers upon layers of awesome! Kelley's Batman may not be for everyone, but I personally dig it and this piece is incredible.

Confession time: I've always liked Kelley Jones' take on Bat-verse. I felt he nailed just about everything except of Batman Himself. From time to time I found his bats just too bulky, becoming a stark contrast to the scary, gothic figure I'd hope he'd look like. However, in the cases Jones got it right it was pitch perfect and in your piece here Jones got it dead-on right ! It's possibly one of my favorite Batman drawings he'd ever done ! Congrats !
