Description

I was beyond ecstatic to make this piece happen! The Invisibles is a book that came out at the exact right time in life (college!) for me to be hooked and buying what Grant and all these artists interpreting his vision were selling. Phil's runs were some of my favorite of the various volumes and I'd followed him on so many books over the years. *A page by Phil from Vol. 1 was my very first original art purchase back in the mid 90's actually! Making this happen was my only real goal for the show and Phil totally exceeded expectations with everything from the spot color on the girls, the smirk of King Mob, to the grafitti behind them. So cool. And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that Phil is not only immensely talented, but he really is one of the nicest, most humble and genuine pros I've ever met.
