DescriptionPure 90s X-Men genius by Quesada & Palmiotti! Complete with ridiculous large gun, all the veins, so many abs and, Quesada's signature visual of the period -- stringy spittle!!Extended slightly on the left so it could be used as both a poster in the book and as the cover itself. This is the original artwork for the "rabid" Wolverine pose. The pencils have been repurposed (often reinked) several times for variant magazine covers, posters, lithographs, reprints, merchandise and promotion materials. Social/Sharing |

Great to see this work on this site. The X-Men POSTER magazines were always really fun to see what characters they would put together and also see what cool pool lounging or relaxing activity they would engage in but with a twist using their powers. Great set of characters on the cover.

Wolverine is just savage in this one. I also love the exaggeration from this era. Cable's gun is epic.

Have to love Quesada from that time period. Always thought he was underrated. Love his takes on so many characters! Well done!

Jaw-droppingly cool cover! Love the combo of Joe Quesada and Jjimmy Palmiotti. I'm espeically blown away by their take on Wolverine! Bravo!
