I'm not a big Superman fan, but I was really admiring this when it went up for sale. The use of color is beautiful and definitely more vibrant than other pieces I've seen Gaydos do recently. Agreed that this would make a great cover!

Totally, I told Michael he should try to get it published as a variant cover, In all honesty, I find it quite phenomenal. I like Superman but hes far from my favorite character. If i'd buy a Superman piece it would have to be a Ross Kingdom Come or Superman Red and Blue in color butafter seeing this one I was quite quickly sold!

It has the energy of waves crashing underneath him and the colors that swirl with his power that he is summoning by his tense body language! Gaydos is in full command to project this astounding Kingdom Come Superman that must control this before he loses control and loses his humanity.
