Wonderful page for the first chapter of Don Rosa�s classic "The Life and Times of $crooge McDuck", "The Last of the Clan McDuck" (first published in 1992 it�s my favorite Lo$-chapter, partially because the original "The Old Castle�s Secret" (1948) is my favorite Barks story)...featuring a young Scrooge and his father Fergus McDuck, unique flashbacks into McDuck history as well as a reference to the classic Barks story "Hound of the Whiskervilles (US 29 - 1960)...

Wow a beautiful page with some tremendous craft on display with the way he depicts various textures on the page. I've never seen Rosa originals in person. Was the lettering done on overlays?

Definitely a classic and the most ambitious work undertaken by Rosa! Work from this story is what has made him legend.
