Description

It's been a long time since I posted some CHEW art. Outside of some great covers, the best pieces in CHEW were always the POYO! vs. pages. I've wanted one, but unfortunately, they all sold to one guy over the series' entire run.

Well, years later, Rob and John Layman had the opportunity to contribute to the "Comics for Ukraine" project. Part of the story includes a "versus" DPS with POYO help leading an army of Ukrainian Chogs against a grotesque Russian bear-machine-thing.

In honor of People Magazine's reveal of its Person of the Year, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, I asked Rob if I could post this DPS a little before the book's release. I've had it for a few months.

Something about all those little chicks reminds me of the Mole Man.... Looks like an example of FUN!

Under that gruff exterior beats the heart of lover. How else do you explain all the chicks. When this battle ended, some much needed time off was taken and Poyo wrote Clisson et Eugenie.

So many glorious chogs...and they have tridents!

Outstanding and really fun DPS that follows suit with some of the most memorable ones from the series. Big congrats on an official Poyo DPS that any true Chew fan would be proud to call their own!
