DescriptionI love this piece. Obsessed perhaps. The colors absolutely sparkle, the composition is fantastic, and all the characters are speaking to you. It really captures the vibe of the film. Even though I'm rapidly running out of wall space, I'm going to have to find space for this one.The artist, Ricardo Drumond, recently joined the team at Kirby's Comic Art, and Annabel put together a really nice collection of Spider-Man artwork for a special catalogue (which is also really nice!) and this was Ricardo's contribution. He's rendered the characters in high relief but really softened the background with plenty of bokeh, and introduced a third texture with the sky to tie everything together and provide some breathing space. The colors are spot on. Social/Sharing |

The characters stand in the forefront as the backgrounds can be city lights, stars in space, or sparks in our imagination.

The use of light alone on this is worth the price of admission. How it ties the entire composistion together is a master work. I would love to see this in person, as you mentioned, I am sure that the colors positively glow. Great piece, congrats!

Nice move poster feel to this one, with you're right about those colors. Love the touch of those pops of colored lights throughout the building background! Congrats!

Awesome piece! Spidey-gang's all here. Riccardo is great, impressed with his work I've seen so far and have a piece sitting in my Kirby's Comic Art UK stack by him that I may eventually get to enjoy ;-)

Have you considered the ceiling? Seems like an apropos place to put a spider-verse piece. Or, you can always hang it in my collectible room. There's room on the wall! ;) I dig this piece for all the reasons you mentioned, and that Spider-man noir "backdrop." Great idea. Very nice. Congrats!
