Casey and the KirbysComicArt team were on the main floor instead of Artists Alley at NYCC2021, and I think that's why I was able to slip onto Casey's list for the show.

Unbelievable 1 day turnaround from Casey here! I had really admired the Spidey/Venom work that he did recently for one of Annabel's collections, so that's what I chose, and I definitely won't complain. With limited tools Casey was still able to achieve his signature look and produce a real banger.

More importantly it was a delight to meet Casey in person as he may be another one of the nicest guys you could possible hope to meet. In fact, the whole team at the booth was fantastic (Hi Zu and Ricky!) and I'd definitely recommend hitting them up if you see them. If you're in Europe they're embarking on quite a busy con schedule, starting with Thought Bubble.

A banger of the highest order! Love the colors which are reminiscent of the Charles Vess Spider-Man paintings. Congrats!!

Very nice piece! It makes me think that Casey may have been inspired by Charles Vess, as the color palette and painting style reminds me a lot of Vess' work.
