DescriptionOne of the pieces I am most excited about after Heroes 2023.Rising superstar, and obvious Gimli to my Legolas, Eranga toils away deep in the South crafting wonderful objects, delving ever deeper in search of Mithril and/or a Big 2 cover gig. Let me tell you - he deserves both and more. You're going to be seeing some fantastic pieces being posted from him, and you'll remember where you were when you were sleeping on Eranga Devasurendra. You'll remember, because he was snoring, and you probably didn’t even realize he was there. Get ready for an All-Eranga Update, because this kid is SMOKING! (and vaping). Social/Sharing |

This piece stood out to me as one of the best in the entire portfolio. Right down to the Chucks, Eranga D can draw it all, and that's pretty punk in itself.

Eranga works his magic yet again. Now I'm ready for a Spider-Punk vs. Sid Vicious fight!

Anarchy in the U.K. Man that looks like the lead for The Trouser Press Magazine. Never mind the bollocks, here's the Spider-Punk. I like your descriptive write up as usual M L.

This perfectly captures the FU, punkrock spirit of Hobie. Reminds of the xeroxed gig flyers ubiquitously stapled to light posts and bulletin boards from my uni days. Love it!

Just the latest of many kick ass pieces flying of Eranga's drawing table!

If you understood Spider-Punk at all, you would have posted this piece upside down.

Awesome find from an artist I am definitely X-cited to see a lot more from. This piece captures the SPIDER-PUNK well in an iconic form.

I was a child
Who wanted art that was wild
Drawn tight in mid action
Punk crazed with emotion
Insane with devotion
An Eranga notion
It was 4C at the bash
And it wasn't Bill Lash
Love comes in spurts - oh no it hurts
Love comes in spurts - oh no it hurts
Love comes in spurts - it always hurts
Art comes in spurts - oh no
I just can't web wise
To those magical thighs
Though I now know attacks
Hobie cuts with his axe
'Cause love comes in spurts
Eranga in squirts
And he murders your art
They didn't tell you that part

This kid just keeps getting better, and not small increments, he keeps doubling and tripling. Congrats on this ML.

Absolutely PHANTASMAGORARIFFICAL!! Holy moley - our man E never fails to impress, but what is most surprising is the fact that he seemed to level up about three at once here...! I love how he takes the "monochromatic" silhouette approach that I thought of as his "signature style" and uses it as a launch pad to propel Hobie here, as he explodes out of the newsprint. Fantastic execution and beautiful color scheme! Congrats on the AWESOME pick up, M L (and beautiful job, Eranga! Yowza!)!

If I saw this posted on a telephone pole somewhere, I think I'd actually be more excited about the poster than the actual concert. Love the spiked arm bands and the red Chucks. Always wondered what it would look like for the Big E to tackle my favorite character. Even more amazing than I could have ever imagined.

E went to town on this one, mixing his pure illustration chops with that background design element that blends for a perfect Spider-Punk piece! Also dig that contrast between the colored figure vs the BG. Was lucky to see this one in person at Heroes. Congrats!
