Description

Boston Fan Expo 2018 commission. Neal and his wife were absolutely lovely through the process of commissioning this. I spoke to them on Friday and collected it on Sunday. Mr Adams came up with the image. I only asked for Batman plus my son and provided some photos of my son.

Update September 2022 - Obviously, this piece continues to gain sentimental value. It's framed and I see it every day. Each time the fond memories I have of commissioning this piece over the course of a con and interacting with the Dream Team are renewed.

For example, I remember when they handed it over Neal said that I could erase the pencil words if I want, and I told him that he was crazy and that I never would. Overall he's done a very loose erase and I treasure all the pencils that are left throughout.

What a Talent, Legend, and Great Person. I had some time this morning so finally pulled this out of the frame for a decent scan.

Neal Adams is a beast! I’m convinced that he can draw anything! Moreover, you’re probably a great Dad. It’s something you’ll both to share and treasure for years to come. Very Well Done.
