Lara Dann is an American artist who creates paintings that depict fantastical figures in the midst of contrasting themes – such as light and dark, lust and innocence, knowledge and naivete. Her work is inspired by vintage and antique wallpaper tapestry which is featured in most of her underlying work. 2020 marks the debut of 'Sirens of the Zodiac', Lara Dann's gallery debut solo exhibition at Modern Eden Gallery. The depth from the surface sheet of water is very impressively done as a thick plane unto itself. The pool can only contain so many superlatives for this painting.
