DescriptionFunny story behind this one. So I have my Artist Alley table at Chicago's C2E2 this weekend and I run into Talent who's in the row behind me. I talk to him on Saturday, get a commission from him (which I have been wanting for some time now). Sunday comes around and my family shows up. My daughters and son love to go see the artists draw sketches, especially after Gene Ha drew them as super heroes at C2E2 last year (2011). So I give them my Sketchbook and tell them to go ask for a few quick head sketches from a handful of artists that I like. Talent was one of them, and when he asked them what they wanted, my 3 year old son shouts out Luke Skywalker! Talent kindly states that he doesn't have Luke's outfit down in memory so my daughter asks for Wonder Woman instead. Talent kindly agrees to do this. Well, my lovely wife pulls out some granola bars for the kids to eat while they watch, and Talent , who was apparently hungry, asks for one! Then, my kids are talking to Talent the whole time, and saying his drawing looks like a skeleton, and that he draws 'Slow'..... Now, I have no idea this is going on until they tell me the story afterwards. But I guess Talent had a few laughs with the kids and then he went WAY above and beyond the Quick Head sketch and pulled out this Beauty! It made my kids day, as well as mine when I saw it. I ran into Talent on the way out and thanked him for that, and we had a few laughs. Thanks again Talent!!!Social/Sharing |

Great piece and Tal is an awesome guy. He went above and beyond for some art that he did for friends of mine.

Great piece, great story. Check out my Talent pic and story. I can laugh at it still.
