Description

15x25, oil on illustration board. Created for Last Minute Comics, this amazing piece won David a silver award in the 2011 Spectrum annual. I first saw this painting in San Diego Comic Con in 2010. Unfortunately, it sold before I could purchase it. Luckily, in 2021, it came up for auction in France and I was able to acquire it. What a wonderful, unique painting.

Fantastic how the graphic design takes over from the realism to create the full image for maximum impact.
