The eye is immediately drawn to the gorgeous image of Spidey swinging through the city, of course, but there's lots more to love here. The thing that makes this one really work is what also helps Spidey in his web-swinging adventures; a great sense of balance. The strong blacks in the top and bottom tiers of panels allow for the city swinging panel to pop, while the storytelling panels hum along beautifully in the background (only "background" in the sense that they share a page with that great middle panel, which would, frankly, upstage anything else on the page... they're really great, strongly composed panels, too). GREAT pick up! Congrats!

Looks like McKone likes to emphasize the bulblike shape of Spidey's crown in all three shots we get. It's not something we'd see often and adds to how Brand New Day was showing us a fresh take.
