Description

Beautiful color comprehensive painting for the proposed Italian Movie Poster for �Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom� (1984), by Bruno Napoli. Napoli did several (I know of 3) comprehensive versions for an italian release one-sheet, but ultimately it was not realized.
I loved watching Temple of Doom as a kid and it remains one of my absolute favorite movies�as the iconic Struzan artwork is locked away in George Lucas�s collection and will never be attainable, I�m super excited to add this beautiful production piece from the original release to my collection�

Bruno Napoli was a major movie poster artist for the Italian and European market from the 1960�s until the 1980�s�he was also Disney�s primary illustrator for their European movie posters from the late 1960�s to the 1980�s.

It's even grander than could be imagined! It pays homage to the time period of the film's setting with this old school style of illustrative adventure painting. This rings true to the magic of the movies that this film brought to audiences!
