Description

Couldn't pass up on the opportunity to get another Bone piece from Ethan - this time we went with more of an action scene - the great fight in the woods between Kingdom, Fone Bone, Thorn and Gran'ma Ben (although not sure if this is much of a true battle as it's pretty one-sided until the very end). Kingdok is so huge and opposing, taking up much of the frame and attention, pushing poor Fone Bone to the edge of the image.

Also, don't skim over the backgrounds here - Ethan did a lot of great rendering on the rocks in the foreground. He says they are his Wrightson rocks, lol.

Really happy to have this as a nice Bone companion piece to the one Ethan did for me earlier.

It always seemed unfair that Kingdok got the club in addition to his size. I suppose that's the point. Ethan delivered yet again.

The inking job is very cool with Young using different techniques to bring levels of depth. From the clean and tight foreground, to the dry brush strokes deep inside, Fone's clean and clear cartooning is placed right in front of the focal point of the battle.
