DescriptionNew Fantastic Four # 5 coverArt by Nick Bradshaw Written by Peter David Marvel Comics - October 5th, 2022 I know it might be strange to say this piece carries a lot of nostalgia since it’s a modern cover, but like many I remember seeing and reading the original Simonson and Adams series as a kid and thinking this team-up was the coolest. That art rarely comes up and when it does it's often out of reach. When Marvel announced they were relaunching the New Fantastic Four decades later I hoped I'd have a chance at a piece. With the interiors being done digitally and several of the variant covers being done digitally I wasn’t sure if any art would be available. I was very excited to see Bradshaw doing four of the five main covers as his style is the perfect nod to Adams’ work on the book and very happy he works on paper. I’ve also had my eye out for a Bradshaw cover for a while so this checks multiple boxes. Plus look at that cast with the New FF and the original FF teaming up for the final battle in Las Vegas! That's eight fantastic characters!
Ha! The branding team may have taken a half day when the named this group or perhaps the Fantastic 8 doesn't have the same ring to it.

George, it's not strange at all to say this piece carries a lot of nostalgia, given that it's a direct call back to the Art Adams issues from your childhood. A spectacular piece indeed. Some would call it amazing. Most though, would likely call it fantastic!

The gang's all here (well almost, except for Ghost Rider). What a fun take on the now classic Simonson/Adams story.

Thanks Eric! I thought the same thing but Bradshaw snuck Ghost Rider in the background between Sue and Hulk. I'm still in awe of your Adams New FF art that was recently published as a variant for this seires (and your stunning Adams collection).

The F8 of the Fantastic. The best part is that they're already "family"!

Now I want an F8 shirt, might have to mock that up!

I'm impressed with how Bradshaw was able to pack in both new and old teams in such a dynamic way!

Thanks Dave! Bradshaw is such a talent even when he puts the Hulk in a shirt and tie.

Fabulous FF cover by the amazing Nick Bradshaw! What a terrific depiction of the Fantastic Four and their allies! Love Bradshaws' take on the team, which really feels like a revival of the FF as we fans remember them! Love that the cover includes the Hulk and Spider-Man and Wolverine! It's like old home week for the FF!

Almost the whole page is covered up by overlapping characters, fists, and brick. It makes for a very enjoyable piece. Awesome cover!

Wow, with your love of music and collecting music art I'm starting to think you have some inside knowledge in the music industry.
Is this Santana's new band for the next tour?

You're right about the nostalgia and Nick captures that well in all of his work. A very fun cover and a kick is a great guy. Bravo.

Yes! Totally gives the classic Art Adams New FF vibe while still being all Bradshaw! AND you got the classic FF team, too. I like Spidey, the Hulk, and Torch the most, but every character rendition here is a winner. Love it, man...and just a lil' jealous over here :) Congrats!

Oh, yeah! I'm with you on the nostalgia, even though it's modern. Bradshaw's love is so intense, it carries that Adams nostalgia right through to the viewer, imo. I loved that FF iteration, and this take looks excellent. And it's a testament to his skill that he can get so much detail on the page, while leaving it readable. Great cover!

It's as if Art Adams finished FF #349, then bottled 1991 and put it on a shelf, and now Nick Bradshaw has opened that bottle and unleashed the magical energy of that time into 2022.

Really diverse collection of great art by great artists you have. This piece is phenomenal with an excellent layout. So much to see packed into one cover without it being too busy.
