As someone who grew up reading manga instead of comic, this was how I got into comic arts...no prior knowledge required for art appreciation^^

Incredible amount of linework, crosshatching, and splatter! The genre in Japan has a sophistication that was further ahead of other countries because of the earlier acceptance and appreciation to have artisic merit
