From Baltimore and the steadfast tin soldier novel 1

Oddly enough, I decided to read the novel again on a whim. (Still excellent BTW) & Found the art pressed between the pages of the book. I totally forgot I purchased it from Mike at the Baltimore Comic-Con waaaay back in the day.

I have had the same experience with storing things in a book. Mignla outdid himself with the Baltimore illustrations. This is a classic B&W book illustration that came from early 1900's to enhance the reading experience. A beautifully executed scene. The heavy blacks make this so 3D from the sky to the walls. Glad you found this to share.

A scene like this benefits being seen in original art form with more personality in the bushy thinned ink than the printed solid black.
