I'm a huge fan of the Giffen, Dematteis. Maguire Justice League. I started reading DC Comics with the Legends mini series and JL rolled right out of it. Being in high school at the time probably made me a little more accepting of the humor of the book but I've never gotten over it either! In 2022 I saw Kevin Maguire at a convention and bought a pre-done Blue Beetle out of his portfolio, instantly hoping to be able to add a Booster Gold to it, one day! I recently reached out to Kevin and he was happy to make this happen! I did request Booster smirking or looking cocky and not only is this better than what I expected, it's a superb companion piece to my Blue Beetle! I'm a giddy fanboy, right now!
