Incredible that he's using all the techniques of strip art and illustration onto the comic page along with the layouts and design to tell the story in the most precise and powerful manner the medium can contain. Adams was innovating the comics scene with pop art that reflected the world around him for the mass audience.

As spectacular as this page is, it's truly scary to realize that Neal got even better as the years went by.

For me, Spectre was the pinnacle of Adams' art and this is a great example.

A great Spectre face in the opening panel, and such a clever use of space with the scene of people fleeing in the distance. Adams really conveys a sense of movement and panic in those ragdoll bodies, with limbs flailing.
