While I have a piece or two of Ryan Stegman art, I've wanted a cover of his for quite some time! Well, I was able to grab this amazing Venom #25 piece and I'm more than pleased! The black-on-black is something of a cool approach for a Venom cover, with just the right amount of illumination to make the image really pop!

This is like Batman became a changeling and turned into Venom. Which I guess in a cross universe sort of way could have actually happened here. Great cover and image!

The original art shows off the ink strokes which are shorter than I thought with such a big amount to fill. The circle in the back could be a nod to back at ASM 300.

More than any other modern artist, Ryan Stegman really knows how to work those heavy black inks. This sweet Venom cover once again shows what a master he is.

You know I likes me some Stegs! Nice single character shot of Venom, and that white circle background, surrounded by straight black, works to great effect to frame and highlight the figure. Congrats, man!
