The sketch prelim is by John Romita SR. while the finished published art by Romita Jr.

"Cover title appears as "Alfred's Own Spider-Man". This was a free magazine (not a comic book!) mailed to alumni, faculty, staff, friends, etc. of Alfred University. So, while the larger contents of the magazine would probably have limited interest to comic book collectors, Spider-Fans might want to add this to their collection for the cover (by John Romita, Jr.) alone, or maybe for the featured article, w/photos and illustrations, about Peter Cuneo, who was the CEO of Marvel Enterprises at the time of publishing and a major player in leading Marvel after they filed for bankruptcy.' This has that fantastic world famous look people associate Spidey with through the years. All the proportions and pose are meant to look classic.
