Description

Finally, an Art Adams page to call my own! Being the fan of Adams that I am, I couldn't resist this page's siren call!

I know there's a healthy majority of folks in our hobby that picked this particular issue/story arc off the comic stands and fell in love with both Adams' art and the idea of this misfit group of heroes, taking place of Marvel's First Family. Personally, I've only come across the story in passing and so was not informed by nostalgia when this came up at auction. Rather, I just adored the art and how the Hulk, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, and Spider-Man all got a chance to shine and combine their powers in a way uniquely to them. Anyhoo, killer page and a fun addition to my ever-growing collection!

The Art Adams details on this page shows his sense of joy drawing everything. These anti science bros muscle through in a fun way that gives Adams plenty of action beats to pace and render.

Adams' pages from this story are crazy fun to look at. Love how each "member" gets to show off at least one of their powers as they work through the usual FF dilemma.

True that, Hulk. And you moved me with awesome page! Only crazy people, and people with no true comic nerdery in their souls, didn't enjoy his FF run with this crew. Hulk, Ghost Rider, Logan, and Spidey, drawn by Art Adams? Yes, please, and I saved room for seconds. This is a great page, too. They're all chipping in, and doing their team thing. Man, I want this comic series out now. Hint hint, if any comic peeps are reading. ;) Super sweet score. Congrats!
