DescriptionD.C. Comics. Drawn late 2006/early 2007. Published October, 2008. The main image of Harley was also used on the heavily reprinted 2013 softcover indicia page.A few years ago I got my first piece of art by Lee Bermejo. It was a page from Joker and I fell in love with it immediately. When this page came up for auction I was expecting to be on the sidelines only to see what it went for. I'd seen pictures of it on here from the previous owner and thought it was incredible, but beyond what I'd normally be able to spend. Then I had the opportunity to view it in person prior to the auction and I swear she cast a spell on me! I was already sick with Bermejo fever and all I could think of holding it in my hands was that it's one of the most detailed and impressive pieces of comic book art I've ever seen. When auction time came the bids were already well past what I could normally spend, and yet I found myself throwing in the winning bid. After a quick education in financing invoices, and some patience, Harley now proudly hangs on my wall. One of only 19 pages from the book Bermejo pencilled & inked entirely himself. The ink washed panels/ pages - every single one - looks better in person than any scan you will find online. This one is a real stunner. In Lee's words: "The drawings go from lose pencils to line art form in ink. From there I render on top of the ink with pencil and then go back on top of that with ink wash to darken areas further and blend." Signed in the bottom margin by both Azzarello and Bermejo. You made a great purchase! Lee's work on this book is absolutely stunning and really needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Glad to see this page turn up in your great collection.

The only strip club that puts on articles of clothing! Totally sick Bermejo piece from a legendary book! All the more rare with digital art coming into play going forward.

Impressive. Reminds me of Flint Henry when he was doing GRIMJACK for First.

Stunner! And even more stunning, I am sure when seen on person. I have a Bermejo piece so I know how much more detailed they are in person. Congrats on breaking the ceiling - onwards and upwards!

This is a stunning page and one I was hoping to add to my collection but I dropped out of that race as the price soared to levels I wasn't willing to pay. If you ever want to part with it I can offer another page from that book that features Joker, Killer Croc and Penquin as this one precedes another one of the pages I own from that book and one I continously asked the owner to sell to me. Congratulations on a big win!

Your excitement is clear in your description and it's not hard to see why! Gorgeous piece...got the storytelling mixed with the unreal rendering as only Bermejo can bring. Huge congrats!

Absolutely dropdead killer Harley Quinn page from Lee Bermejo. Who could resist this page with Harley donning her costume? I love that final image of Harley pulling down the mask and staring directly at us. It's haunting! There's something magical about Lee Bermejo's art. It's not enough to say it's hyper-realism, although it is, there's some kind of magic in the way Lee makes every page extraordinary. When you page through a comic drawn by Bermejo, it's like looking through a "Greatest Hits" album. It's one killer image after another. I don't know how he does it, but Lee has the touch. Let's hope he never loses it.
