I love consecutive panel pages. When I saw the opportunity to keep two consecutive pages together from one of my favorite books of the last few years, I couldn�t help but seize the opportunity.

The first panel perfectly establishes the setting and time during the meal. The last panel uses an old cinematic technique to place a barrier between two characters in opposition (footnote Robert McKee analysis of a scene with Rick and Ilsa in Casablanca) All that and a sequence! Congrats!
