DescriptionRecently had the pleasure of having Robert Dennis restore this cover. The original had a stat of Spidey over top of the original art. There was also a bunch of liquid paper and some toning. Robert did an astonishing job here. As you can see the original art looks great. Looks like the stat was used to shift Spidey over from the edge. Couldn't be happier with the results.Social/Sharing |

Great cover from the best MTU storyline....I wonder if there is more OA underneath Spider-Man! In any case, good catch!

This is the cover to the first spiderman book I ever owned as a kid. It still holds a special place for me. Let me know if you ever can part with it, I call first dibs! Lol beautiful piece.

This cover is "the comic" of my chilhood spinner rack. Very nice, and well preserved for furture generations.

There's a strong argument to be made that Gil Kane was the best cover artist of the 1970s, and this cover would only serve to bolster that claim. Spectacular!
