DescriptionWell.Mark Hay showed this on Bill's show - I will openly admit to this being a lottery-winning piece. German went above and beyond. The request was Artist's Choice, and the result is a perfect fit. Looking at the other piece that he did (Eternity), it seems like he may have an affinity for the cosmic. The colors are layered beautifully, and they refract the light in a way that just cannot be captured with a scan. Poor Mama Gaia. Social/Sharing |

Tried to figure out the number of karma points needed to have gotten this, and it was....A LOT. Huge congrats to you!

Expert level use of color and contrasting color for focal point - the scale here is so well executed. Congrats my friend.

Like I always say, a mystery piece
Is always good from Peralta
Oh, Gaia
Oh hungry, starve me right
Let’s bar-b-que in the cosmic night
Can't you let the Surfer be
'Cause Earth food is there gorge energy, yeah
Oh, Surfer where you been
Hangin' out with your Four friends
Peralta’s going to paint you
The way he chose to keep mystery
And we sing
Oh, oh, Gaia got the menu when the feasting comes
Oh, oh, Gaia you know I want table for only one
Oh Billy, understand that I want to see your only fans
But it seems as though it's getting too hard
And I think I rather see the lonely Earth’s end
Oh baby, it's lottery
This Art’s qualified to fulfill your needs
You think you pulled one over on me
Well honey, baby, just you post to see
And we sing
Oh, oh, Gaia let me love you till the morning comes (just tryin' to say)
Oh, oh, Gaia you know I want to be the only one (for her)

I think we all gasped when these were shown by Bill and Mark talk about getting your money's worth and then some. the watercolor really gives it that extra layer of awesome. I love the fact that half of Galactus face is a skull (represnting the whole bringer of death aspect to him. congrats this is the pck up of the show.

LOVE. IT. Love the shades of the FF #257 cover in Galactus' face, as well as the Surfer's association with camera position here, so that it looks like he and Galactus are close together and in cahoots; ordering hors d'oeuvres to whet the appetite for oceanic consumption, or discussing the best wine to wash down a continent with. -Gorgeous- and rich colors: the cosmos behind Galactus serves both as backdrop and cold reminder of how small we truly are... Everything one looks for in a commission, I guess! ;) lol Another beautiful add, M L! Congrats!

Exquisite color work, with them all being in that same
"cool" palette. Great mix of exactness and looseness, and the downward perspective is a great choice, adding to the depth. I'm a big fan of German's and images like this are why. Congrats!
