DescriptionFrank Miller vintage art is tough to hang onto these days, let alone acquire. This isn't really Sin City Ladies but it is about romance. The cover is easily interpreted without story knowledge as a classic love-struck theme so stands alone - and it is not particularly violent, so it has a chance of making it on a 'dear wife' wall. If I had picked it up a few weeks earlier, it could have been a great valentine's day gift, for me I mean. . Social/Sharing |

Miller goes psychedelic... Is that a definition of romanticism?

It looks like one Cupid may have hit our hero right between his cheeks. Heh. Great Miller style and humor here. He can set a scene and emotional tone so well. Big congrats!

This just might be the least amount of black I've ever seen on a Miller piece. But of course it still screams Miller (and I'm not just saying that because he's choking a baby, LOL). In regards to a Valentine, as well intentioned as your idea might be, I'd stick with chocolates. And I say that only because I believe you may have a difficult time finding a Hallmark card that matches the theme of this piece. Congrats on picking this up from Mitch. Great choice and Mitch is a great guy!
