Description

This unconventional issue contained three short stories concerning three different Titans. One of the stories was about Starfire of course, and her sister Blackfire. Every page was divided between the two of them, showing their completely divergent takes on the situations at hand. This was the final page of the story.

The layout appears to have changed during production, because the right-hand side of the left-hand page is one large stat, pasted onto the underlying original art, which has the effect of shifting all those panels in the middle about an inch to the right. Inker Romeo Tanghal helped keep the characters on-model despite the diversity of pencilers between the three chapters. Several word balloons have fallen off over time.

The cover was triple vertical to tell us about the three stories. The Starfire and Blackfire story is the key as it led to Kori getting married off to bring peace to her planet. It sends Nightwing into a spiral. Some fine cheesecake art from Leonardi and Tanghal.
