From Mike himself, yes. And this too from Mike himself: when I asked Mike how he comes up with this stuff, he said he loved drawing old-fashioned clothing. And when I asked about the radish head, he said he loved shapes. Such an imagination!

This fits right in with the World kitchen theme Mignola was raising money for. I like that he put a lot of fine work into shading of the crown and suit.

A floating rooster head in an old-timey suit is way more frightening to behold than Hellboy. I'm going to have nightmares later.

Cock-a-doodle-sweet! I really dug that series of sketches he sold for charity, and I believe this is one of them? His pencils are the best, and it's so great that he had to outdo his own weird creativity by floating the head. Dapper pickup. Congrats!
