DescriptionI knew I needed this piece from the first moment I saw it.Incarnated Solvent Abuse was inspired by the song of the same name from Carcass' album Necroticism - Descanting the Insalubrious. Carcass, originating from Liverpool UK, have been a hugely influential band in the world of death metal since 1985. The artist, Noel Guard, is a self-described metal head who has used his love of metal music and science fiction to influence his art. Noel has also worked with the band Fear Factory to produce a limited edition comic accompaniment to their eighth studio album The Industrialist. Social/Sharing |

It's even more awesome with the unnatural cybernetic enhancements and elongated neck! The asymmetry of the eyes also add ambiguity of nature or machine.

I find the anguished expression of this figure fascinating, I find it hard to drawn my eyes away.
