Description2001 24"x30" final watercolor and gouache on paper. Model is Julie Strain. Publishedin American geisha The Art of Olivia. Orginaly sold at Robert Bane GalleryOlivia stated " These drawings are from the most recent Julie shoot. It was her best yet, a backbreaking pose off. I tried to simplify the line and make it dance. I used the twisted stripes for camouflage, and the snake as accent on the arch, sort of the dot on an exclamation point!" Social/Sharing |

Absolutely stunning Strain painting. I love her snake charmer pieces and her black and white style paintings are honestly the best EVER! Photos can never interpret their beauty! Congrats Andrew!
