Chan's strips are just full of lush detail. You didn't find this level of work as much in newspapers at that time. This must have been a great gig with him concentrating his efforts into each panel rather than been seen less and spread out over a bigger area for an interior page. Out of the Marvel strips of the time, this probably had the best looking art.
