Description

Painted by The late Fernando Fernandez in the 60s. The size is 37x26cm. It is signed 1963, but was listed as 1967 (maybe that is when it was published?) He worked for spanish agency Selecciones Ilustradas. This must have been surely published as a cover for the Fleetway AIR ACE PICTURE LIBRARY in the UK, but I can�t find the published cover image. I love the orange background and the planes battling in the sky! The trail of smoke of another plane shot down not only adds more drama, but visually provides a counterbalance to the planes to make a triangle of interest for focus.
