Description

Cable vs. Magneto as drawn by the ever-awesome Greg Capullo! Seriously, what more could you want for 90's era mutant-on-mutant violence!? While not a match-up you see often, probably for good reason since Cable is largely metal, the confrontation between the two is epic and downright beautiful! If you were to continue reading onwards from this page, you'd realize that their battle (though a physical one for sure) is largely a duel of differing philosophies! Anyway, I saw this page and fell in love with it! Cable is unquestionably one of my favorite X-Men and it's not easy to top Magneto when it comes to villains!

Additionally, I'd like to point out that this is my first Greg Capullo piece! These days, at least for folks who predominately read modern comics, going after his New 52 Batman art seems to be the goal, but for older folks and those who still love the 90s, his work from that era is very much still in demand! As with most artists at the time, you can see the Jim Lee influence, but if you follow Capullo's work, you'll definitely notice how he eventually came into his own!

First Capullo??? Hallelujah! Congrats my friend and so glad it tells quite the stand out story with your fan character of all. Looks like its about to get loudly rough between those two mutants!

Dang such a nice action page. Love the 90's shadowed out magneto helmet too. I tried to play along on Heritage but was priced out in the end :) Congrats.
