In honor of the Moon Knight TV series release, I'm posting this Davis Detective Comics #27 homage cover that he drew for a Moon Knight reprint one-shot from 2009. It is a fitting cover for Marvel's Batman!

Wonderful tribute to the Detective Comics #27 Bob Kane cover from 1939 that pays tribute to the Alex Raymond Flash Gordon strip from 1937! Both inspirations of the solo adventurers are perfect for Moon Knight to pay tribute to through this Alan Davis and Mark Farmer cover! It's one of the most anticipated debuts into the mainstream!

That is a good point, I do not think I have ever seen a Davis MK story or even appearance. If someone knows of Davis MK story please post it in the comments. This was just a new cover to a book of MK reprints.
