Such a brilliant cartoon. Ghoulish in its own way. The Undertaking Profession. Morticians Run Amuck.
Published in 1962 in either Argosy or Saga.
Four Morticians try to stuff a guy (who may still be alive) into a coffin.
I had never heard of JOHN HUEHNERGARTH but apparently he did covers for Newsweek and Time amongst many other publications.
Brilliant guy!

Macabre fun! The different patterns of the suits, the stretchy and long limbs, and the top hats are a fun mix to class up the joint.

Thanks Marcus. I was reading about Charles Addams from the New Yorker and his stuff is just so darn expensive that I couldn't rationalize it. This was well done and both gruesome and comical at the same time. My daughter showed it to her boyfriend who has a great sense of humor and she said he laughed out loud. thanks again.
