Where to start?

If you are reading this then you already know about the greatness of the Journey series so I don't have to tell you how thrilled I am to own this.

Besides being a complete story, two things really drew me to the story.
First, this is an updated version of "The Chase" from the first A-V issue of the series. That story is absolutely one of the greatest sequential story telling stories of all time! While this is not that, it's a close second.

Second, Journey takes place on the American frontier in late 19th century. No robots. No superheroes. No monsters other than the human kind.
EXCEPT... for this story.
As a back up in a science fiction comic, WML worked in a sci-fi element of an alien drone chasing our hero around. The drone element was interesting at the time and, if anything, got even creepier now that we have real drones everywhere.

Third, the Spirit-esque title page is just fantastic.

Ok, maybe three things drew me to the story!

This was a backup story in Dalgoda #7 from January, 1986.
