Description

This piece is inspired by Avengers Forever and Into the Spiderverse. Multiple versions of Krypto from across time and space materialize at the Kent farm.

Ian drew my Legion of Super-Pets Membership Drive years ago after my friend Damon Owens introduced me to his work. I have long admired his work. I cannot thank him enough for taking this one on.

An annotated version of the master list I gave Ian:

1 1970s amnesiac krypto -ears down no collar no cape-(Who Was that Dog I Saw you You With Last Night)-Superman 287

2 Bronze Age Krypto with Mister Mxyzptlk�s hat in mouth and Superman�s cape(the first Krypto I met in bsckupndkrue in Action Comics 467-ears up or back-yellow collar but no tag.

3 Modern Krypto ears down-Superman cape-tag with Superman symbol.

4 1950s original Krypto-pink shading and black dots in muzzle-red cape-Adventure Comics 210

5 Krypto the earth dog-pet of Bibbo Bibbowski (Non powered small white dog no cape and bone shaped tag on collar-tag says KRYPTO)-he got his name in Adventures of Superman 502.

6 Kryptonia (Krypto transformed into Lassie by red Kryotonite-collie with large yellow ribbon around neck and Superman cape)-Superboy 101.

7 Kryptonia�s puppy -small brown dog-sadly the puppies disappeared when the red Kryptonite wore off-Superboy 101.

8 Spot (Krypto robot-looks identical to Krypto-no cape or collar large black spot on middle to lower back)�created by Jor-El when Krypto was lost in a test rocket-Superboy 117.

9 Superman Adventures Krypto (Small white dog no cape-collar-no tag- Superman animated series style)-temporarily from the past on Krypton by Mxyzptlk-Superman Adventures 40).

10 Zypto purple dog with yellow wings-father of Krypto-Superboy 126.
11 Nypto white giant dog w spots-grandfather of Krypto-Superboy 126.
12 Vypto tan or brown in reference-no powers great grandfather of Krypto-Superboy 126.

13 Bizarro Krypto red cape yellow collar no tag-Bizarro duplicates of Krypto appeared multiple times but I first met BK in Superboy 82.

14 Colossal Krypto -giant Krypto Superman cape yellow collar no tag-Krypto was transformed by rainbow radiation in Adventure Comics 262.

15 Krypto the super dog cartoon.

16 New 52 white wolf Krypto-red collar -sharp superman symbol on collar-no cape.

17 Krypto from the Space Canine Patrol Agents -costume and glasses-I asked Ian
l to combine the references from the story- blue body costume with the Superman cape and the SCPA collar but also the glasses he wears earlier in the story-Krypto joined the SCPA in Superboy 131.

18 King Krypto blue robes brown fur collar and hem-Ian even worked in his throne-Krypto became the king of a planet and it definitely went to his head.

19 Krypto from the duplicate Earth created in Action 388 (with the color and markings of Streaky).

I offered to scale back the request but Ian graciously included them all.

I asked him to draw the smaller dogs (Bibbo�s Krypto. Superman Adventures Krypto, and Kryptonia�s puppy playing.

Including the Kent farm as the background was all Ian.
