Norem stages a great action piece with the strap line that leads us from the foreground to the Conan focused figure.

I wonder...I remember reading Brian Bolland saying that if he was asked to produce three or four cover options, he would put most work into the cover he preferred, in the hope that design would be picked. Look at all the work in this. I think Mr Norem might have been operating on this theory. Likely cheesed off at some of his other designs not being picked.

Yeah to do one great piece is something, but to produce many each time, mostly to coloured pencil is unbelievable.
