70's is peak Aparo and it really makes the Metal Men look great! The revival of the title was experimental, but would actually make the blurb at the top come true a few issues later.

What a fantastic Metal Men cover especially with Platinum so predominant and by the great Jim Aparo. I definitely missed this one on the newstands and really can't say I recall seeing it as a back issue at the comic store I managed in the 80's either... but it does make me want to dig up a copy. So you'll let the cover go for a cool mill, eh?
