DescriptionGreat page (page 23 of 33) by the Italian Disney master Romano Scarpa, for his classic „Paperino e l'amuleto di Amùndsen”, which was first published in the Italian Topolino in 1956. One of the rare instances where Scarpa did everything (story, pencils, inks), the original art was unfortunately cut up for another publication (Albi della Rosa) in 1960, but that doesn’t really affect the overall appeal. Wonderful surreal page which is featured in the gorgeous Taschen 90 years Donald Duck anthology…Social/Sharing |
