Fantastic page! It's a clear winner if you have Spidey supporting the weight of anything and oh it's by JRJR. I like it a lot.

It's very reminiscent of the amazing Spider-Man-man 33 cover.
Also , it's drawn by John Romita Jr., so it makes it even more epic!

So much Spidey goodness, and so much better in black and white than color, in my humble opinion. John Romita Jr and Scott Hanna make a formidable artistic team!

Pencils and inks beat coloured pages any day in my book!
Romita Jr. & Scott Hanna are definetly one of the best combos out there!

Nice break in the serious tone of the story with a single page gag that has JRJR and Hanna working the story beat down to the end.

Very nostalgic for that Peter Parker run, with Shocker and Trapster combining to give Spidey and Paul Stacy a terrible night together. I love Paste Pot Pete as another negative image of Peter- makes me wish he featured as a villain more often. Great page! Gotta get me a good JRJR sometime soon.

Perfectly summed up Casey. It was a fun run by Romita jr!
Its true Paste-Pot-Pete never gets any love, more often than not he is
ridiculized. Still he's a fun villain in Spidey's Rogues gallery!
