DescriptionI don’t typically read Superman comics but I couldn’t help but pick up this mini series. As with most, Superman the movie was the first comic book movie I watched and Wilfredo Torres was the perfect creator to bring this to life. His depiction of Christopher Reeve’s Superman is spot on, and you can see his love and reverence for the source material in every page! So happy to be able to add this page to my collection, especially one with Superman and my favorite Superman villain, Brainiac!Social/Sharing |

Oh man, that is gorgeous! Captures the feel of Superman '78 perfectly. Huge congrats!

The light wash with the white paint adds so much cosmic energy to the piece! It even looks kind of blueish in the background. Reeve is forever Superman and this series is a major tribute to that era.

I'm a fan of Wildredo's too. Got that simpler is more approach that flat out works. I saw some of his Supes '78 work at Heroes Con and was really impressed. Congrats on your suh-weet example!
