Description

There are a lot of opinions out there concerning Tom Kings run on Batman, but two things can be certain in my mind, he was able to have some of the best artist to help collaborate with him, and his Batman / Catwoman were just destined to be one of the most enduring love affairs in comics. The Batman / Catwoman Special showed their romance as it changed over their lives and in my opinion a great end to their story. The issue also came as a tribute the the late great John Paul Leon by some amazing artists like Tommy Lee Edwards, Bernard Chang and Mitch Gerads to name a few. So when I found out Mitch was actually putting ink to paper I had to try and nab a page. Although the page has panels that were not fully inked, you can still see a good example of his work and the ending of King's Selina Kyle.

I liked Tom Kings run! Even better that this is a signature 9 panel grid. Cool pick up.

really cool pickup. I'm a fan of Tom King's run on Batman myself (and even own a cover to one of the issues, #15) and was glad he was able to continue the Batman/Catwoman romance in a seperate book. Great 9 panel layout and very rare Mitch Gerads published artwork!
