Description

Thanks to Bill and especially Howard for doing this 2nd show and having some Shadow art. I kept debating between this and a 2 gun pose. Eventually went with this one. I love the facial expression and eyes, but the .45 draws you in and you know your fate has been decided, THE SHADOW KNOWS!

The Shadow's hat is perfectly executed and captures that pulp feel.

Always wanted a Chaykin Shadow and this was perfect.

Pencil, and blue pencils and inked with brush and marker. Can see a drop of ink on the hat. 8 x 13. The back has 2 figures. The page was original 11 x 17 but cut and recycled for this piece.

I have several Shadow pieces have always been a fan from the early 70's to now. Would love a Steranko pencil preliminary of one of his Pyramid or Jove paperback covers.

Great image of The Shadow and Chaykin did a great job! The perspective and contrast really personify the character.

Looks as cool as he did in the 80's mini series by Chaykin who reaches back with style and class of the time period.

Wow! Chaykin really did a great job on this! The perpective with the gun gives it an almost 3-D quality. So cool!
